Rublon MFA supports Windows Hello as a platform authenticator (WebAuthn) to use as a multi-factor authentication method for any Rublon MFA integrations compatible with the FIDO authentication method. Windows Hello acts as a platform authenticator by securely storing and managing passkeys on your device. Since it’s built into your Windows device, it allows you to unlock the passkey using biometrics (face or fingerprint) or a PIN. Rublon MFA supports this mechanism and allows you to create and save the passkey stored on your device as a new Rublon MFA authenticator.
The Rublon MFA for Windows Logon and RDP connector supports Windows Hello. This includes logging in to Windows using a PIN or fingerprint instead of a password and then completing MFA using a second-factor method from Rublon MFA.
